    Challenge

    Most people think Barcelona is a city that has been fully explored, which is definitely not the case, there is always something new to discover. Staying away from the attractions that everyone knows and going that step further. In a group you always have the challenge to deal with different characters and different interests. Especially if it is an incentive trip. You have worked hard all year and deserve this trip, all the effort you have put in your work over the year and now it’s time to explore…every individual would like to do that in a different way. Let’s be creative.

    How we did it

    Let’s share some time together and where is this done best? Having a great dinner, with an amazing atmosphere and delicious food in this stunning city of Barcelona.
    Next morning, some guests prefered to discover the culture others were more interested in the gastronomy and nature of Barcelona; we created the perfect solution for everyone. Four different programmes with the best insider tips, all the information necessary was handed out and everyone could do what they felt like and just enjoy the days in the city, even at the beach.
    To close this trip together, after dinner the guests discovered the nightlife of Barcelona with a VIP area in one of the most famous clubs.

    Challenge

    Facing some bureaucratic challenges that lead to more time-consuming processes than usually, other countries involve other processes and therefore more steps to make before concluding them.
    Some companies need to follow internal guidelines which put restrictions on the suppliers that can be booked for the event. Barcelona only has one supplier that could offer us the necessary transportation for our group. Here we had to combine the urge to work together with a supplier that only offers what we need and the extended processes.

    How we did it

    Working close together with our client, the agency, and the final client to complete all the processes as soon as possible and making sure all processes run smoothly. A close cooperation as well as a good communication is necessary between all parties.
    This proves once more the importance of having a good relationship with your suppliers on site and trust, which you developed over the years, makes those things possible.

    Challenge

    Convincing someone for a new destination or venue, is much easier than doing it to someone that is familiar with the destination. Showing something new, something innovative made by the combination of the perfect venue and supplier. Barcelona is a city that always changes and creates new products all the time, that is exactly why we chose this destination to make this special event. Showing new products the city has to offer.

    How we did it

    Staying up to date is essential and always keeping up with your destinations. Meeting new people is one of the most important things to do. Word-of-mouth is known to be the best marketing strategy for a reason, information spreads way better and faster. We found a venue that used to be a restaurant and is now open for events only. What makes it that special? You can use it for car presentations, dinners, etc. and also acting shows, yes even having artists hanging down from the ceiling. All that right in the center of Barcelona.  Serving great food is not that difficult nowadays, but going that step further and showing people something unique is the goal – even event experts – and that is what we used this event for. A great success. Amazed looks after seeing things no one has expected or ever seen before.
